Take Care Of Your Skin
Take Care Of Your Skin
The skin is like any other part of the body – a lot of it is genetics, but maintenance is important to keep it looking fresh and young. Because we are exposed every day to things in the environment that age the skin, a daily routine is important to fight the aging process. Too many people wait until it is too late to start taking care of their skin – many changes are irreversible.
I start every day with a Vitamin C-based daytime moisturizer and sunscreen. It keeps my skin hydrated during the day under my makeup and protects my skin from any harmful UV rays. In the evening after removing my makeup, I use a foaming cleanser to really cleanse the skin and remove dirt and toxins. I also like to use an exfoliating scrub for deeper cleansing especially when I’ve worn heavier makeup after a shoot or after a workout. The nighttime moisturizer that sits on clean skin when you are sleeping is the most important. I use a nighttime moisturizer with Vitamin A, C, E, and other antioxidants.
Your skin is one of the first things people see, so be good to it!
