Your skin technically doesn’t need to breathe, but instead the inside layer of your skin is continuously being nourished. When someone says, “I need my skin to breathe”, they are referring to whether the pores are clogged up or not. Clogged pores can cause pimples and blackheads.
What can you do to help your skin?
For starters, you need to make sure you use a good cleanser to help unroof and minimize any pores. The products need to be ‘non-comedogenic’ which means it will help fight acne on your skin. Remember to wash your face daily to get rid of unwanted dirt and debris. Other prevention includes not wearing makeup for a bit, especially people with sensitive skin or acne-prone skin, to help your skin improve. Make sure to exfoliate at least twice a week to help with clear skin. Exfoliation clears out dead skin and balance your overall skin.
